Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Prague Wonders website (the "Site"), operated by [Prague Wonders — legal entity name, TBD], a company registered in the Czech Republic under company registration number (IČO) [TBD], with its registered seat at [registered seat address, TBD] ("we", "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site currently is

Prague Wonders is, at this stage, primarily an informational travel guide: attraction descriptions, a weekly "What's On" events guide, and a blog ("the Journal"). Tours shown on the Site are affiliate listings from Viator, our booking partner — see Section 5 for what that means. The Site itself does not process bookings or take payments for tours, the Pass, or anything else. The newsletter signup and contact form on the Site simulate a submission for preview purposes and are not yet connected to a live email system.

If and when the Prague Wonders Pass becomes available for purchase directly through this Site, separate, specific terms covering pricing, payment, cancellation, and your right of withdrawal under EU consumer law will be published and will require your explicit acceptance before any purchase. Nothing on the current Site should be treated as a first-party offer you can complete a transaction against — the only purchases actually available today are third-party tour bookings made on Viator's own site, described in Section 5.

2. Accuracy of content

We do our best to keep attraction details, opening hours, prices, and event information accurate, and we cite a source for each entry in the "What's On" section. That said, this kind of information changes — venues adjust hours, events get rescheduled or cancelled, and prices change. Always confirm exact times, prices, and availability with the official venue or organizer before you travel or make plans, especially for time-sensitive events.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage or overburden it;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems;
• Scrape, copy, or republish substantial parts of the Site's content without permission;
• Submit false, misleading, or abusive content through any form on the Site.

4. Intellectual property

Text, design, and original photography on the Site belong to Prague Wonders or its licensors unless stated otherwise. Some photographs are used under Creative Commons licenses (CC0 / CC BY / CC BY-SA) from Wikimedia Commons; attribution for each is shown on the image itself. You may not reuse Site content commercially without permission, and any reuse of Creative-Commons-licensed photographs must independently comply with that photograph's own license terms.

5. Third-party links, sources, and affiliate tours

The Site links to third-party sources (for example, the outlets we cite in the "What's On" section) and to official venues. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party sites.

Tours displayed on the Site come from the Viator Partner API and are affiliate listings, not our own inventory. Clicking "Book on Viator" takes you to Viator's own website, where you book and pay directly with them, under Viator's own terms, privacy policy, and cancellation rules — please review those before booking. If you complete a booking after clicking through, Prague Wonders may earn a commission from Viator at no extra cost to you. We don't process, see, or store your payment details or booking information — that happens entirely on Viator's platform.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" for informational purposes, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site's content, including missed events, changed prices, or inaccurate third-party information. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Czech or EU law.

7. Your data

Information you submit through the newsletter or contact forms is handled as described in our Privacy Policy — currently also a placeholder, since the Site is not yet collecting real data server-side.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Site evolves, particularly once bookings and payments go live. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are an EU consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence.
